Capacity Building Grant & Volunteer Promotion Program for NPOs Supporting Children by Daiwa Securities Group
Daiwa Securities Group, in collaboration with the NPO ETIC. ⟨Japanese only⟩, implemented a grant program specifically focused on promoting volunteer activities for private nonprofit organizations working to support children.
Purpose of This Fund
For NPOs working to address social issues with limited resources, volunteers are indispensable partners. Building systems, mechanisms, and a culture that allow volunteers to participate smoothly not only supports the sustainability of activities but also increases the number of people tackling social issues and contributes to the expansion of civic movements.
This program specifically supports NPOs addressing various issues surrounding children by providing financial aid and expertise to help them find better ways of collaborating with volunteers. In the field of child support, there are unique responsibilities and challenges, such as the need for approaches tailored to different ages and developmental stages, as well as the creation of environments where children can feel safe and secure. Therefore, we hope this program will be utilized to establish appropriate training and support systems that effectively advance volunteer activities.
We aim to create opportunities for many citizens to participate meaningfully, foster initiatives that are valuable to children and ensure their sustainable development and contribute to the realization of local communities that support the healthy growth of children.
