Event Report(November 4, 2025)
We, in collaboration with the ICMA Women’s Network, hosted an event titled “Investing in Human Rights and Gender Equality to Foster Economic Opportunities.”
In recent years, respect for human rights and promotion of gender equality have come to be recognized as essential elements for sustainable corporate growth and stronger competitiveness. The importance of gender equality has also been rising within sustainable finance, with increasing international guideline development and investment examples.
At this event, we had the honor of welcoming Yuriko Koike, the Governor of Tokyo, along with other distinguished speakers from diverse fields working on gender equality and they shared concrete initiatives and market trends toward achieving these goals.
The event was held at Daiwa Securities Co. Ltd., Head Office, 18th Floor Conference Hall. A lot of participants from Japan and abroad attended.
